Before The Fame Game Show, Harris had his hand in various aspects of show biz. In the '70's, he performed comedy-magic as the mad scientist in his show The Magical Marvels of Professor Quay for both stage and television. The '80's saw him as a bandleader, bass player, and singer for the variety band, Best of Both Worlds and in the '90's he hosted his own karaoke show Sing Along With Red.

Finally around 2000, he decided to fulfill his real dream by moving to and performing in Las Vegas. There he created Las Vegas' most original game show, The Fame Game Show. Red Harris has been working on and reinventing the show ever since. He has devised all the show's games, written all the music, and designed and built all the props. Recently he has added a new dimension to the show, improv comedy. The cast will at times become the Jerk Prankers who will be making live crank phone calls inspired by ideas from the audience. Red's goal is to keep the audience entertained in a plethora of ways while giving them a chance to win "big, big prizes!".
